Training Center Petaluma Legal Office
The Training Center Petaluma Legal Office offers legal assistance to eligible patrons on an appointment basis. The Legal Office is located on the lower level of the command building (Bldg. 140). If you need legal assistance, please complete the legal assistance request form (see below) and submit to TRACENPetaluma-LegalAssistance@uscg.mil
Legal services are provided at no cost pursuant to COMDINST M5801.4 (Legal Assistance Program) and 10 U.S.C. § 1044.
Client Eligibility: All active duty armed services members and PHS officers (including reservists on active duty or scheduled for deployment), retirees, and dependents of active duty members (to include same-sex spouses) and retirees.
Limitations to Representation: The Legal Office generally cannot represent you in court or in criminal matters or in a dispute with the federal government. Also, professional ethics rules prevent Legal Assistance Attorneys from representing individuals when there is a conflict of interest.
