Local Schools

There are many options for schooling in both Sonoma and Marin Counties: Traditional Public Schools, Charter Public Schools (some have independent study options), Private Schools, and Homeschooling. Children who live on base in Coast Guard housing in grades K-6 attend Two Rock Union Elementary School, which is a public school adjacent to the training center. Older children who live on base attend Petaluma Junior High School and Petaluma Senior High School.
